Gogo is looking for a Manager, Technical Solutions, to assist with the development and coordination of company-wide strategies to maximize customer responsiveness, to meet business objectives and achieve maximum results for all sectors.

You will work closely with the Sales and Customer Support teams to ensure front-end processes are closely aligned and consistent across the business for identification, pursuit, close and execution for outstanding customer experience.

How will you make a difference?

  • Offer on-site instruction, training and support for new and existing customers to ensure the best possible user experience with Gogo products and services
  • Work closely with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for pre/post-delivery connectivity training
  • Organize all international training efforts, while working closely with the North American team
  • Adhere to budgets and keep projects on track for successful completion within specification
  • Create technical documentation as needed and report on progress of project
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules, goals and milestones and make project assignments
  • Manage, coach, and develop team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline and/or an Aviation-related certification
  • 5+ years of aviation experience or an equivalent combination of education and sales experience
  • 3-5 years mentoring and managing technical personnel
  • Must be legally authorized to work and live near Basel, Switzerland

Required Skills, Talents, & Experience

  • Extensive knowledge and/or experience with satellite communications, aircraft avionics, and aviation communications
  • Experience with computer networks, topology and cybersecurity best practices
  • Experience presenting to small and large groups
  • Effective time organization skills
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and CRM

Additional Information

Base Pay:

Based on experience and responsibilities.

Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:

Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
