The Manager of Sales Training is responsible for supporting the learning and development initiatives focused on Category Management, both for the Category Management team and foundational learning across the broader Red Bull North America (RBNA) organization. This role involves identifying, designing, developing, and integrating learning solutions to advance knowledge and skills. These solutions include training programs, job aids, microlearning modules, and interactive digital content. Additionally, the manager will implement training solutions that align with Red Bull’s brand standards. They will enhance and oversee all aspects of learning solutions, including project management, content development, and training facilitation, ensuring input from sales leadership and alignment with RBNA sales strategies and global curricula.

Job Description

SALES TRAINING DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTAION

Take the lead in developing and implementing Category Management learning solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to assess the learning needs of individuals and teams related to category management.

Design comprehensive learning solutions that include job aids, eLearning materials, audiovisual resources, and instructor-led training, whether conducted virtually or in-person.

Roll out programs and supporting resources aimed at enhancing employees' and managers' knowledge and skills pertaining to RBNA's category management strategy and sales processes.

Support the development and implementation of learning solutions tailored to the Key Account, Insights, Distribution, and Field Sales organizations.

BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS AND ENGAGEMENT

Act as an ambassador for the Sales Athlete programs, with a strong emphasis on Category College, across all levels of the sales organization.

Coordinate with leadership to develop and implement RBNA and/or market-specific learning solutions when necessary, collaborating with global stakeholders.

Partner with diverse Subject Matter Experts, stakeholders, and vendors across different regions to align on objectives, course content, and communication strategies; effectively oversee design, scope, and development timelines.

Recommend or utilize vendor programs that align with instructional goals and objectives.

Support leadership in establishing priorities for category management training within the Key Accounts, Insights, Distribution, and Field Sales organizations as appropriate.

MEASURE AND ADAPT

Establish metrics/assessments to measure performance of learning solutions.

Implement processes to collect information on post-program behavior adoption of learners in support of training managers.

Evaluate data and synthesize insights on effectiveness, additional recommended training, or process modifications.

Assess facilitator performance and learning programs in order to recommend improvements to learning content and/or facilitator presentation methods; may recruit, select, and train additional facilitators from the RBNA sales organization.

LOGISTICS AND PLANNING

Take ownership of individual project plans and timelines; coordinate and implement training initiatives as needed through Red Bull’s Learning Management System (LMS).

Oversee and enhance existing training resources and databases.

Develop and disseminate communications related to specific learning solutions.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Category Management or a related field is preferred.

Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, particularly in the beverage sector or similar, is preferred.

Proven ability to integrate business training needs into effective learning solutions.

Strong facilitation skills for both in-person and virtual environments.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with multitasking and presentation abilities.

Solid understanding of adult learning theories.

Demonstrated experience in leading or playing a significant role in organizational training initiatives.

Ability to think strategically and synthesize complex business challenges while being solutions-oriented.

Willingness and capability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative work environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $138,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
