The Sales Training Manager is responsible for executing instructor-led sales training programs and learner solutions that further Red Bull North America (RBNA) Sales and Distribution strategy. They will identify and own the adaptation, design, development, and integration of learning solutions that support knowledge and skill advancement of our Off Premise Sales & Distribution Organization. These include training programs, job aids, eLearning, and interactive course content. In addition, they will execute training solutions on par with Red Bull’s brand standards. They will enhance and oversee all aspects of learning solutions, including project management, communications, content management, and training facilitation – ensuring input from sales leadership and alignment with RBNA Sales strategies and global curricula.

You will work with stakeholders throughout the business to ensure that Red Bull’s 70/20/10 philosophy is expertly conducted and reinforce key lessons learned at in-person and virtual training programs. You will be responsible for both the execution of programs designed to develop entry-level sales roles abilities and the coaching and management abilities of Field Sales managers and leaders.
Job DescriptionSALES TRAINING DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION
The Sales Training Manager plays a leading executional role in the Sales training and development department.
Drive innovative training program execution through the facilitation of instructor-led and virtual training to ensure maximum effectiveness of the sales force.
Conduct periodic needs analysis with the Senior Manager of Sales Training to determine knowledge gaps and training needs.
Develop learning solutions inclusive of job aids, eLearning, audio visual resources, and other modalities.
Implement learning plans for each learner segment within Off Premise Sales. These learning plans will accommodate the various roles within the organization and reflect the most appropriate timing to drive relevance of the learning.
Project Management of training initiatives, which may include reinforcement training, Train the Trainer certifications, and any other programs that support scalability of learning solutions for Field Sales.
BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS AND ENGAGEMENT
Serve as an ambassador to the Sales Athlete program amongst all levels of the sales organization.
Align with leadership to design and build RBNA and/or market-specific learning systems solutions when necessary, partnering with global Sales Athlete stakeholders.
Collaborate with diverse Subject Matter Experts, stakeholders, and vendors across geographies on objectives, course content, and communication strategy; effectively manage design, scope, and development time.
Leverage consultative skills to support the development of learning solutions across functions.
Recommend or use vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives.
MEASURE AND ADAPT
Establish metrics/assessments to measure performance of learning solutions.
Implement processes to collect information on post-program behavior adoption of learners in support of training managers.
Align with stakeholders to establish and maintain metrics to monitor performance of the learning solutions effect on post-training behavior change and business results.
Evaluate data and synthesize insights on effectiveness, recommend training, systems, or process modifications.
Assess instructor performance and learning programs to recommend improvements to learning content and/or instructor presentation methods; may recruit, select, and train additional instructors from the sales organization.
LOGISTICS AND PLANNING
Own respective project plans and timelines; coordinate and execute training events when needed through Red Bull’s Learning Management System (LMS).
Manage and optimize current resource libraries and training databases.
Create and distribute communication for respective learning solutions.
Qualifications5+ years in Learning and Development or related function preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
CPG (beverage or other) industry experience preferred.
Integrating business training needs into learning solutions.
Facilitating classroom training programs.
Implementing training measurement processes.
Effective verbal, written, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
Learning design and development.
Understanding of adult learning theory.
Strong facilitation skills.
Think strategically and synthesize complex business issues; solutions oriented.
Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
Additional InformationThis position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $132,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
