Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical teams in developing new product services and maintaining existing microservices, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery
- Collaborate with BSS/OSS SMEs, Tech Ops, and Care Ops to ensure seamless system integration and support
- Drive continuous improvement through solution reviews, automation initiatives, and innovation to enhance project quality and efficiency
- Partner with Product Managers and Owners to refine requirements, define specifications, and ensure alignment with business goals
- Guide solution design in collaboration with Architects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and best practices
- Mentor and coach team members, conducting regular meetings and one-on-ones to support professional growth and team success
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of technical management experience
- 3+ years of experience in software development with the following technologies: Java/J2EE, Spring/Springboot, Microservices & Event Driven architecture, OpenAPI Specification, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Restful API and API management tools (Apigee, API Gateway, etc.)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear, professional interaction with stakeholders across all levels
- Proven ability in capacity planning, prioritization, and effective organization under pressure
- Skilled in decision-making, problem-solving, and providing coaching and counseling when needed
- Experienced in status reporting, road mapping, and delivering insights to drive progress
- Background in wireless telecommunications with hands-on proficiency in AWS cloud technologies
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes
