Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and Analyze Enterprise & Government Market Needs: Conduct in-depth market research within government and enterprise sectors to identify critical unmet needs and opportunities for specialized wireless product development.
- Define Product Strategy and Roadmaps: Develop clear, technically focused product strategies and detailed roadmaps for secure and robust wireless offerings tailored to enterprise and government requirements.
- Drive Secure Product Development Lifecycle: Lead the end-to-end development process for wireless products emphasizing security, reliability, and compliance standards critical for enterprise and government deployments.
- Manage Technical Product Backlog: Define, prioritize, and maintain a detailed technical product backlog based on enterprise/government requirements, security mandates, and operational priorities.
- Collaborate with Enterprise & Government Stakeholders: Work closely with engineering, security, sales, and government relations teams to ensure successful product development, deployment, and ongoing management within enterprise and government environments.
- Develop Business Cases for Enterprise & Government Solutions: Build comprehensive business cases, including market analysis, ROI, and cost considerations specific to enterprise and government procurements.
- Define and Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establish and monitor KPIs relevant to the performance and adoption of wireless products within enterprise and government contexts.
- Understand the Competitive Enterprise & Government Landscape: Continuously analyze competitor solutions and emerging technologies relevant to enterprise and government wireless needs.
- Develop Clear Enterprise & Government Product Positioning: Define compelling value propositions and work with relevant teams to develop effective product positioning and messaging for enterprise and government audiences.
- Manage Existing Enterprise & Government Product Portfolio: Oversee the lifecycle of existing wireless products serving enterprise and government clients, identifying opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Proven ability to lead and mentor technical product development teams focused on enterprise or government solutions.
- Demonstrated experience taking secure and reliable products through the complete development lifecycle to successful deployment within enterprise or DoD environments.
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders in enterprise and government sectors.
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in product management or development within the technology, telecommunications, or defense industries, with a significant focus on enterprise or government solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills with a strong technical understanding.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with enterprise and government clients.
- Ability to think strategically about enterprise and national security needs and execute tactically with a deep understanding of technical requirements.
