Manager, Global Creative Advertising – Motion Picture GroupOverview

Working closely with the SVP and VP, the Manager, Creative Advertising serves as the operational lead for the Creative Advertising department, overseeing the day-to-day development, timelines, trafficking, finishing, music licensing, and delivery of all AV and Print marketing materials. This role manages creative workflows across Domestic and International campaigns, serves as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external agencies, and ensures the timely execution, tracking, approval, and delivery of creative assets from concept through final distribution.

Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the SVP and VP of Creative Advertising, as well as the broader Marketing team, on all AV and Print creative requests.
  • Coordinates and schedules all creative calls, including AV and Print.
  • Takes detailed notes during all creative calls and internal creative meetings.
    Distributes creative notes and action items to vendors following each creative call.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive Google Docs creative asset trackers for all Domestic and International campaign assets.
  • Manages campaign timelines, rotations, and delivery schedules for MMDG and DCDG, including weekly cross-functional meetings once media launches to review updates, changes, and campaign priorities.
  • Engages creative vendors and manages the development and creation of trailers, TV spots, online banners, social media assets, and other campaign materials.
  • Communicates with outside agencies on creative asset requests and deliveries, including messaging, end card creation, timelines, specifications, finishing, and final deliveries.
  • Meets regularly with Creative and Brand teams to review campaign materials and presents trailers, TV spots, and other AV assets during creative reviews as needed.
  • Oversees AV asset finishing, including review of picture and audio quality, messaging, aspect ratios, formatting, ratings, legal copy, and overall quality control.
  • Coordinates with post-production facilities on HDR, SDR, and HD finishing, including delivery of final feature masters and quality control of final assets.
  • Imports, exports, and manages creative assets across platforms including PIX, Ci, AdStream, Box, Aspera, Frame.io, and other asset management systems.
  • Communicates with media teams regarding specifications, trafficking requirements, and final delivery of campaign assets.
  • Manages schedules, timelines, and delivery deadlines across internal and external teams while tracking creative assets, approvals, and campaign milestones.
  • Interfaces with Creative, Brand, Media, Digital, Legal, and International teams to secure approvals, music and talent clearances, legal review, and third-party, partner, and MPA approvals.
  • Manages timelines and delivery schedules for AV, Print, and graphics projects to ensure all creative materials are delivered on time and at the highest quality.
  • Serves as liaison between filmmakers, vendors, media, digital, and international teams to ensure seamless communication and campaign alignment.
  • Oversees the clearance and licensing of all music used across AV creative, including trailers, TV spots, digital, and social assets.
  • Negotiates licensing fees and usage rights with music publishers, record labels, and rights holders while ensuring all music is secured within approved budgets.
  • Tracks and manages music licensing budgets across all theatrical campaigns and maintains accurate licensing documentation in partnership with Creative, Music, Legal, and Finance teams.
  • Assists with creative presentations, campaign status updates, meeting preparation, and materials for senior leadership reviews.
Qualifications & ExperienceWork Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of AV workflows relating to editorial and motion graphics for theatrical and/or home entertainment marketing, including trailers, sizzle reels, TV spots, and social media assets.
  • Experience managing AV creative, production, post-production, and finishing processes.
  • Deep understanding of AV finishing, video formats, delivery requirements, and asset retrieval, approval, and delivery platforms including AdStream, MediaQurator, Box, NEST, Aspera, and related systems.
Knowledge / Skills
  • Strong understanding of AV finishing processes, sound design/mixing, and motion graphics.
  • Experience working within a creative marketing environment with the ability to synthesize marketing strategy into creative execution and provide thoughtful creative feedback.
  • Strong, confident, and clear communication skills with the ability to present materials effectively in meetings.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of Mac systems, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Zoom, and Google Docs.
  • Knowledge of various social media platforms and digital asset workflows.

  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision and manage remote technical workflows as needed.
  • Strong writing, correspondence, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Willingness to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, when required by campaign timelines.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude and willingness to adapt to evolving priorities and challenges.
