As part of the eCommerce Digital Marketing team, this is a hands-on role, designing, executing and evaluating digital marketing campaigns on media networks owned by Amazon, Instacart and our CPG retail partners across all of our Wonderful Brands, FIJI water and JUSTIN Wines. As a subject matter expert in digital marketing, this role requires strong analytical skills and technical ability for back-end optimization of campaigns with the ability to manage multiple platforms and brands.

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

 

  • Drive demand by designing and executing full-funnel digital marketing programs exercising independent judgment to grow our brands using sponsored product, display, brand advertising and other platform-specific tools across multiple online marketplaces including, for example, Amazon, Walmart, Instacart and Target.
  • Evaluate and validate data sources, analytical tools, and methodologies used to measure marketplace and campaign performance, interpret results and implement data-driven improvements for campaign effectiveness. Including bid adjustments, A/B testing and audience refinements.
  • Review the work and coach junior team members to build team expertise.
  • Lead, develop and maintain dashboards and automated reporting tracking key performance indicators, including return on ad spend, cost per click, click-through rate, conversion rate, revenue and revenue attribution metrics.
  • Configure and optimize DSP campaigns, including audience segmentation, bid strategy, and inventory targeting, to drive performance and reach.
  • Partner with brand and agency creative teams for data-driven custom display ad assets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategic approaches for engaging smaller/emerging retail media networks (RMNs), identifying growth opportunities and tailoring partnership strategies to maximize incremental reach and performance.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years experience with hands-on digital marketing for Amazon, DTC, Instacart, Walmart and other retail media networks.
  • Bachelors degree in data science or marketing. MBA or MS preferred.
  • CPG, specifically food and beverage experience is desirable.
  • Deep understanding and direct hands-on experience with backend campaign optimization including audience targeting, bidding strategies and reporting capabilties with proven success in driving scalable campaigns whilst achieving financial KPIs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem, Amazon Ads and Amazon DSP platform and other Retail Media Networks in the US Grocery Sector such as Walmart Connect, Roundell, MAP, Carrot Ads and Criteo.
  • Profeciency in analytics and reporting tools including Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and Google Analytics. Proficient in cloud-based SQL programming and data mining.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to use data to formulate data driven decisions.

 

Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
