The Role:

The Core Operations Manager will be responsible for managing strategic and tactical aspects that support testing, implementation, and ongoing business process management for international restaurant operations.

This role will provide operational insight, recommendations, and direction for system programs or initiatives launched that impact sales, profit, Guest and Team Member satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings strong restaurant operations expertise paired with experience translating business needs into scalable solutions, actionable insights, and clear visual storytelling.

This position provides project management support for testing, projects, and initiatives across a broad array of subjects under the umbrella of operating restaurants, including but not limited to food, beverage, labor optimization, training, IT systems, marketing, supply chain and development.

This position also manages projects and leads cross-functional teams, ensuring all programs and initiatives are completed and operationally ready for implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across US and International operations teams to share field feedback that improves restaurant processes, drive a global-minded strategy with local relevance, and adapt successful domestic strategies for international markets while respecting local differences.
  • Implement new and improved processes, policies, and training where needed for local markets.
  • Partner with International Operations leaders to localize operations requirements where needed.
  • Manage, coordinate, and integrate efforts across a portfolio of projects and programs.
  • Develop and execute testing and implementation strategy for multi-year corporate initiatives.
  • Lead cross functional team of subject matter experts to meet the needs of the various stakeholders and effectively facilitate organizational alignment.
  • Develop win-win business solutions - independently identify project related risks & issues - elevating and proposing solutions where necessary to define a path to resolution.
  • Frequently interact with operational leaders in addition to senior level franchise and company leadership.
  • Create and present professional, executive level updates as needed.
  • Target Salary $115k-$130k depending on experience

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or related discipline, or equivalent restaurant operations experience
  • Casual dining or restaurant operations experience
  • International multi-unit casual dining restaurant/food industry experience preferred
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • Knowledge of restaurant industry
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fully bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
