The US base salary range for this full-time position is 108,800.00 USD - 136,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. What You'll Do
- Lead our content and editorial strategy, translating employer brand, audience insights, and hiring priorities into a focused roadmap and editorial calendar.
- Set a high creative and editorial bar across copy, video, graphics, social media, long-form storytelling, and campaigns, providing direction while staying hands-on with writing and editing when it matters.
- Build an integrated content engine that turns strong ideas into stories across organic social, paid media, our careers site, email, and other candidate touchpoints, using performance insights to strengthen our approach.
- Develop content strategies that scale globally while adapting storytelling, channels, and candidate experiences to local market needs.
- Define the strategy and creative vision for DraftKings Life, shaping what we talk about and how we show up while empowering the team to bring that vision to life.
- Lead and develop a high-performing content team through coaching and feedback that helps teammates strengthen their craft and take greater ownership.
- Own content intake and prioritization, guiding work from brief through production and approval while partnering with Internal Communications, Public Relations, Legal, Brand, and Talent Acquisition to focus resources and move high-impact work forward.
- Use content performance, recruiting outcomes, AI, and emerging search trends to inform decisions, improve how we create and distribute content, and reach candidates at key moments in their journey.
What You'll Bring
- A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in content marketing, employer brand, or a related field, including at least 3 years of people leadership experience developing writers, content marketers, or creative talent.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates compelling storytelling across audiences and formats.
- A player-coach mindset, with the ability to set direction and empower others while staying close enough to the work to elevate it.
- Experience leading content across video, social media, graphics, digital campaigns, web, email, and long-form editorial for different markets and audiences.
- A data-informed approach to content, with experience connecting creative performance and audience insights to business and recruiting outcomes.
- Strong AI fluency, with experience using AI tools to enhance content development, audience insights, personalization, workflows, or discoverability while applying strong editorial judgment.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, create efficient workflows, and move compelling ideas forward across teams.
