About this team:

Magnite’s People Operations team is looking for an individual to manage US benefits offerings, communicate and implement wellness and health education initiatives, and maintain employee benefits in our HRIS. Benefit programs include, but are not limited to, group health/medical/dental coverage, critical illness, hospital indemnity, life and disability insurances, HSA/FSA, wellness programs, commuter, 401(k) retirement plans, and leaves of absence. This role reports to the Senior Director, People Operations. This hands-on role manages day-to-day processing and employee inquiries. 

In this role you will:  

  • Administer and communicate Magnite’s benefit policies, programs, and initiatives for the US

  • Manage the budget for annual benefit costs;  negotiate policies with carriers and brokers during annual open enrollment

  • Conduct and prepare annual FSA plan nondiscrimination testing, ACA filing, and manage the distribution of regulatory notices  

  • Maintain and track changes to enrollments for life events and healthcare waivers

  • Oversee COBRA administration

  • Reconcile benefits invoices, provide any adjustments for  payroll processing, and employee headcount premium costs insurance

  • Participate in external partner benefits surveys to analyze and determine Magnite’s competitive position in employee benefits and  to ensure programs are relevant and current to today’s trends and practices

  • Manage benefit plan change configurations within Workday; test and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements

  • Ensure benefits programs comply with legal requirements

  • Partner with Magnite’s FP&A and accounting team on cost and plan inquiries while providing monthly or quarterly schedules as needed

  • Participate in special projects, analysis, culture building, and ad hoc reporting as needed

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human resources and benefits experience

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in benefits administration

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and the ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, summarize findings, and present information clearly and accurately.

  • Exceptional customer service capabilities

  • Experience with self-funded benefit plans preferred

  • Knowledge and experience with the Workday Benefits module preferred

  • M&A and benefits integration experience is a plus

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations for employee benefits and leaves of absence

  • Strategic, analytical thinker who consistently challenges the status quo and is able to comfortably make sound recommendations using data in a complex, ambiguous, and changing environment

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

  • Project & change management skills 

  • Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization and demonstrate a strong commitment to a team environment.

In California and New York the base salary range for this position is: $115,000 - $122,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
