Job Summary
The Apple TV Video and Content Producer for the LA Galaxy will plan, produce, and elevate the production of video content, post-production, and distribution for our regular Apple TV content. This will be both short-form and long-form content that can also be used across our owned and operated channels. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the production of original content, managing video platforms, and supporting broadcast/external partners with footage requests while traveling domestically and internationally for all scheduled events. Help conceptualize and execute the creative motion graphics for visual communications for in-game videoboards/LED, digital content for websites and social media and video-based advertising for the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park
Essential Functions
- Plans, oversees, and produces a wide variety of video content (documentary-style, comedy, news pieces, sizzle reels, highlight packages, commercial spots, Public Service Announcements, etc.) for the LA Galaxy, Marketing, Digital, Ticket Sales, Partnerships and Dignity Health Sports Park.
- Conceptualizes and advises on content for Corporate Partnerships and Marketing for the planning of commercial spots and branded content series.
- Capture video content on the field, at practice/ training sessions and in studio environment(s) and production set(s) at a variety of scheduled events at DHSP and other locations (special events, PR appearances and away games) which may include filming, executing lighting design, producing audio recordings and interviewing subjects for video productions.
- Maintains the LA Galaxy creative Digital Asset Management platform by uploading new content to the central database for use by other departments.
- Collaborate with Design, Digital, Video Production and Photo (Creative Services) and Game Presentation teams to create motion graphics to run on LAG/DHSP Video Boards and LED Boards. Including, but not limited to, matchup assets, player specific animations, goal & win animations, and other in-stadium animations.
- Oversees the design, creation and implementation of graphics, animations and subtitling to meet LA Galaxy branding standards as developed by the Creative Services and Brand Marketing departments
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree (4-year): In Video Production, Media Production or a related area
- 4-6 years
- In a videographer or content editing role
- Industry specific experience is preferred
- Experience with a professional sports team is a plus
- Must have an excellent proficiency of non-linear software (i.e. Premier Pro, After Effects) as well as a mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proactive, highly organized, and resourceful with great attention to details
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize workload efficiently and quickly
- Proactive and have the ability to work independently without the need for supervision.
- Ability to multi-task, meet tight timelines, and work effectively in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
- Ability to professionally handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- Must be efficient in After Effects
- Must be creative, idea-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative team-based environment
- Must be technically proficient with MS Office.
- Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of management, staff, etc.
- Ability to carry and maneuverer equipment efficiently of 40 lbs. or more
- Proficiency in Spanish preferred
Payscale: $71,000.00 - $80,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
