Why Socure?

Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day.

We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. If you want predictability or narrow scope, this won’t be your place. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading.

About the role

We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer with strong fundamentals in layout, typography, and visual production.

This role is primarily a production-focused design role supporting the day-to-day creative output of the marketing and brand team. Much of the work will involve executing within existing systems, templates, and brand guidelines to produce high-quality design assets quickly and consistently.

A major component of the role is presentation design. You’ll help transform raw content and complex ideas into clear, polished presentation decks used internally and externally across the company.

You’ll also help produce a wide range of marketing and communications assets — including web graphics, emails, event materials, and fact sheets — using Socure’s existing design systems and templates.

This role is ideal for a designer early in their career who wants to develop strong production craft, speed, and attention to detail while working on a fast-moving technology brand.

What You’ll Do

Presentation Design
  • Design and produce high-quality presentation decks for internal teams, leadership, and customer-facing communication

  • Translate complex ideas about identity verification, fraud prevention, and AI into clear, structured visual slides

  • Apply existing presentation templates while elevating layouts and visual storytelling where possible

  • Ensure presentations meet a consistent, professional standard across the organization

Marketing & Communications Production

Produce a high volume of marketing and communications assets, including:

  • Web graphics and site updates

  • Email marketing visuals

  • Fact sheets and one-pagers

  • Event promotion materials

  • Social media graphics

  • Campaign support assets

What you bring
  • 0–2 years of experience in graphic design (internships or freelance work welcome)

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong layout, typography, and production skills

  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong attention to detail and production quality

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently across multiple projects

  • Comfort working with evolving inputs and needs

Nice to Have
  • Experience designing presentation decks or pitch materials

  • Experience producing marketing assets at scale

  • Familiarity with component-based design systems

What Success Looks Like
  • You produce high-quality design assets quickly and consistently

  • Teams rely on you to turn rough content into clear, polished presentations

  • Marketing teams can move faster because of the templates and assets you maintain

  • You help maintain visual consistency across a high volume of outputs

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
