Job Description

This role focuses on leading the business's digital transformation through e-commerce innovation, technology-driven growth strategies, and comprehensive app/system development. The IT Director will be responsible for establishing and implementing strategies for organizational and product growth, enhancing the global system architecture, and developing ERP/SAP systems to streamline operations and enable scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive technology strategy to support e-commerce growth and broader business goals.
  • Establish and guide long-term system and app development roadmaps, focusing on scalable architecture and next-generation solutions.
  • Drive technology alignment with business objectives, optimizing operational efficiencies and customer experience across digital channels.
  • Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of e-commerce platforms to improve functionality, scalability, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive user-centric solutions, integrating UX/UI best practices and enhancing the digital product portfolio.
  • Monitor emerging trends in e-commerce, mobile applications, and related technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Lead ERP/SAP system implementation and integration initiatives, ensuring alignment with business processes and scalability.
  • Develop an efficient ERP framework to support operations, data management, and workflow automation.
  • Oversee ongoing system configuration, upgrades, and maintenance for optimal performance and compliance.
  • Direct and oversee system architecture and product development, establishing best practices for software development, data security, and infrastructure management.
  • Manage and mentor the technology team, fostering a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, skill development, and accountability.
  • Design and implement strategies for system integration, seamless user experience, and process optimization.
  • Drive global technology initiatives and set up a scalable system infrastructure that supports international expansion.
  • Lead the selection and integration of enterprise-level systems, including ERP and CRM platforms, to support business growth.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of security and compliance frameworks for international markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields; certifications in ERP, SAP, or related areas preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in technology management, including a strong background in e-commerce and ERP/SAP systems.
  • Proven track record in overseeing technology roadmaps, system integration, and e-commerce platform growth.
  • Proficiency in ERP/SAP system setup, configuration, and maintenance, with experience in supporting enterprise-level digital transformations.
  • Must be English and Korean bilingual
  • Strong technical knowledge in digital transformation, cloud computing, ERP/SAP systems, and database management.
  • Proven leadership in managing technology teams, with strong project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, system architecture, and UX/UI development best practices.
  • Strategic thinking with a deep understanding of digital commerce trends and global technology scaling requirements.
