What You’ll Do:

HG Insights is seeking a Solutions Engineer Intern to join our Customer Solutions team in  working directly with our customers on their utilization of our revenue data solutions. This role will challenge you to think creatively and ask questions that will build better solutions for our customers and drive enhancements in our data build process. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about data and can analyze and translate technical concepts to a sales and marketing audience.  Our team is dynamic and adaptive. We seek folks to join us with a good sense of humor, eagerness to roll their sleeves up and interest to learn about the world of revenue data solutions. The position is based in-person at our Santa Barbara, HQ.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Prep and deliver data to customers
• Support the cross functional sales and Customer Success teams’ data requests
• Perform triage, root cause analysis, and corrections to data issues reported by customers or exception reports
• Explain best practices associated with HG Insights points to customers 
• Become a resident expert on HG Insights's data sets, products, and markets - including Big Data, Data-as-a-Service in B2B technology markets
• Explore additional ways in which HG can deliver value to our customers

What You’ll Need:

• 0-3 years professional experience
• Excellent listener and problem solver capable of recommending solutions to customer requests and technical issues
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Eager to work on a customer-facing team
• Interest to learn about revenue data solutions
• SQL Experience
• Proficient in Excel - Vlookups, Pivot Tables
• Experience with a BI tool like Tableau desired
• Located in Santa Barbara and able to work from our downtown office
