Content Strategy Intern
Snapchat is the camera used by millions of people every day to Snap with family, watch Stories from friends, see events from around the world, and explore expertly curated content from top publishers. We’re looking for an MBA Intern to join Team Snapchat! Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters you will work across all of our content formats - including Shows, Publisher Stories, and Our Stories - to identify and evaluate new opportunities and to shape our overall Content strategy. Working with our Content Strategy and Audience Development team, you’ll help to perform impactful analysis, develop and communicate recommendations that will determine the future of Content on Snapchat.
What you'll do:
Short and long-term strategic planning for Snapchat’s Content business
Conduct quantitative analysis of content consumption on Snapchat to determine best practices and growth opportunities
Translate insights into valuable product and business recommendations
Develop and package recommendations for communication to Snapchat senior leadership
Partner with the Business Development, Content Product, and Creative Teams to identify and implement new opportunities
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Currently enrolled in MBA program
1+ years experience in management consulting, investment banking, or in an analyst/strategy role at a consumer tech or media company
Preferred qualifications
Master's degree program in a quantitative field such as; statistics, mathematics, or data sciences preferred
Knowledge of statistical analysis
Prior experience with digital media
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
Intellectual curiosity and great business judgement
Strong written and visual communication skills
Expert skills with Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint and Google Docs/Sheets
High degree of attention to detail
