AV Product Manager Assistant Intern

We’re looking for an AV Product Manager Assistant to join Snap Inc! Working from our Venice, CA headquarters alongside our AV team, you will assist our AV Product Management Team in daily operations. You’ll collaborate with our AV and IT teams to help organize and raise company awareness about our internal AV tools. You’ll gain both AV/IT experience and valuable managerial experience inside of a post-startup, high profile tech company.
What you’ll do:
- Aid in the design of instructional fliers and slide decks
- Update the copy on technical Wiki entries for AV and IT
- Brainstorm narrative concepts for instructional multimedia materials about internal AV tools
- Coordinate and set meetings with colleagues and coworkers
- Take direction on design and writing projects and complete them autonomously
- Write drafts of instructional guides to help educate Snap employees regarding video conferencing and other AV products
- Spell check, grammar check, and edit final drafts of instructional AV guides and Wikis
- Communicate effectively with the AV Product Management team
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction with video conferencing, live events, and other event technological AV needs
What we’re looking for:
- Strong writing skills; copywriting, instructional, and/or technical writing skills are required
- Someone with existing writing samples that can be reviewed
- Confident with all components of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Confident with all components of Google Docs suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
- Confident with Mac OS and iOS
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop are a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Someone with a strong interest in technology and AV equipment
- Ability to quickly learn to operate new products and features
- Excellent effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule around your school schedule
- Ability to safely lift and carry equipment weighing 50 lbs or more
- Video production and/or video editing experience is a plus
- Experience with Google Hangouts Meet is a plus
- Fluent with Snapchat and an avid Snapchatter
