About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Human Resources Manager to own and execute all HR operations across our US team. Reporting to the Global Head of People, you will be responsible for translating company-wide HR strategies into local execution,managing the full employee lifecycle, driving recruitment delivery, and serving as the cultural connector across regional teams.


What You'll Do

  • People Operations: Own the full US employee lifecycle — onboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, compliance, and offboarding — ensuring alignment with federal and California labor laws.

  • Talent Acquisition Support: Assist in end-to-end recruiting for US-based roles across engineering, product, design, GTM, and operations, and strengthen employer branding in the US market.

  • HRBP Support: Serve as the go-to HR partner for US employees and managers, providing day-to-day coaching, conflict resolution, and employee relations support.

  • Performance & Development: Execute performance review cycles, goal-setting, and talent review processes locally in alignment with company-wide frameworks.

  • Cross-Cultural Bridge: Facilitate communication and mutual understanding between China HQ and the US team, ensuring smooth cross-border collaboration and cultural alignment.

  • HR Infrastructure: Implement and maintain HR policies, processes, and vendor relationships (PEO, benefits brokers, legal counsel) that are compliant and scalable.


What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of HR experience in fast-paced, global tech or startup environments, with at least 1 years in a generalist or HR manager role.

  • Hands-on experience with US employment law, particularly California regulations.

  • Hands-on experience with hiring and retaining high-caliber technical and creative talent.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with high EQ and cultural sensitivity — comfortable navigating China-US working dynamics.

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin.

  • Execution-oriented with a builder's mindset — thrives in ambiguity and gets things done.
