Los Angeles based Internet Brands, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager. The position is located in El Segundo, CA, and supports a rapidly growing division.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with leaders to understand business priorities and work with the HR team to design HR solutions that support objectives.
- Coach managers on performance management, employee development, engagement, and retention strategies. Make appropriate recommendations for action that align with policies, practices and culture.
- Partner with recruitment and leaders to attract, reward, and develop talent.
- Advise on and ensure compliance with employment policies and handle complex employee relations issues.
- Use HR metrics and analytics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Maintain a positive, productive work environment by responding to questions and concerns, proactively addressing issues and advising management on best practices.
- Partner with the HR team in designing and executing activities designed to enrich morale and employee commitment.
- Partner with members of leadership and HR on other activities and special projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or PHR certification.
- 5 years of HR management experience.
- Strong business acumen and a passion for HR.
- Ability to exercise autonomy, independent judgment and decision making; providing sound reasoning for recommendations and balancing information to resolve issues and mitigate risk.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to manage difficult conversations and interactions, communicating in a direct and respectful manner.
- Exceptional problem-solver.
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and organize time.
- Strong interpersonal skills, high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to travel as needed.
