HR & Recruiting Coordinator - Factory
The HR & Recruiting Coordinator provides assistance with and facilitates the human resource processes for Reformation with a focus on the building block of Ref, the Factory team. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and data entry. Since the company is ever-evolving the position is as well and your ability to cross-communicate and collaborate with Ref teams is essential to the role.
What You'll Do:
- Focus on recruitment and interview process for Factory teams. Tracks status of candidates and responds with follow-up communication at the end of the recruiting process
- Collect, review and organize various employee verification and eligibility forms
- Perform employee service functions by in-taking employee requests and questions and answering when capable
- Liaising with new employees on the completion of a variety of employee onboarding forms including employment verification and legal eligibility to work in the US forms.
- Manage submission of online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks
- Assist with Workers Comp or employee leave record keeping
- Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the Generalist
- Manage the effective completion of back of office duties including photocopies, mailing, scans, and emailing documents to internal and external business partners. Willingness to perform other critical clerical functions
- Manage, track, and file documents into appropriate employee cumulative files
- Assist and prepare correspondence to internal and external business partners
- Lead preparation of new-employee files
- Additional tasks as assigned
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Employee Relations or similar HR roles
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Distribution Center, Warehouse or similar environment
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish required
Who You Are:
- Possess strong organization, communication and planning skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team setting
- Proficiency in Mac and/or PC
- Proficiency in computer software such as: Word, Excel, Outlook/E-mail system
- Effective communication skills, verbally and in writing
Extra Credit:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. for short distances. Perform frequent repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, standing for long periods of time, as well as bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pulling and pushing. Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain).
