FabFitFun is seeking an HR Generalist to join our team! Reporting to the Director, People Operations at our HQ, this position will play a critical role in paving the way for best-in-class processes and practices while thoroughly maintaining compliance standards. Ideal candidates will have experience with start-up organizations and a generalist background.

What You’ll Do:

Benefits Administration

• Lead benefits administration for new hires, open enrollment and ongoing benefits review
• Present benefits package at new hire orientation
• Administer and monitor 401k participation and enrollment
• Continually seek new ways to encourage participation
• Oversee 401k discrimination testing
• Assist with communication with external vendors for benefits, 401k and HRIS
• Understand and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits
• Help manage EDD, LOA, FMLA/CFRA, unemployment, and workers compensation insurance, claims, and compliance

Onboarding, Off-boarding and File Management

• Manage and disseminate all new hire paperwork, coordinating with Recruiting and IT including, but not limited to:
• Initial HRIS and payroll enrollment
• I-9 verification
• File maintenance
• Manage employee changes & verifications of employment
• Maintain and coordinate HRIS systems
• Manage all benefits data feeds
• Develop, maintain and file the annual EEO-1 Report; maintain other records, conform to EEO regulations
• Process off-boarding of terminated employees, coordinating with Finance and IT
• Responsible for reporting and ad hoc report requests
  

What You’ll Bring:

• 4+ years experience working in an HR Generalist capacity
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Knowledge of HR policies and laws including FMLA, Leave of Absences, and other relevant HR related laws
• Great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills, and comfortable working with, and managing large amounts of information and data
• Technically proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Bonus points: experience with a wide-variety of systems and tools (Namely, Greenhouse, Google Applications, etc.)
