Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), the DEI Staff II will oversee the engagement plan for relationships with the Organization’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and help develop and implement advanced learnings to strengthen the Organization’s culture of inclusion. The DEI Staff is responsible for conducting internal DEI investigations and will have an emphasis on developing and executing strategies for EEO metrics, Affirmative Action, diversity recruitment and assisting in the development of the DEI brand for the Corporation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partners effectively with Business Groups, People Operations, and Office of General Counsel to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective processes
- Work with Aerospace University and third-party vendors to create trainings that center around unconscious bias, affirmative action, and workforce harassment prevention

Identifies obstacles in existing approaches and begins to share suggestions to improve; people: Takes initiative in developing relationships, both within and beyond the immediate work group. - Track diversity demographic metrics and reporting on progress
- Ensures compliance with Department of Labor, federal EEO/Affirmative Action, and state regulations, and makes policy modifications as needed.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- Typically 4-6 years of relevant HR Business partner, DEI, People partner, People coordinator experience with bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated experience with employee relations
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated strengths in building relationships, team collaboration, business acumen, analysis, conflict resolution, project management, and effective communication (verbal, non-verbal, and written)
- Willing to travel locally, and domestically
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
