Under the direction of the Director of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), you will develop and maintain pipeline programs that position under-represented and diverse talent, oversee the engagement plan for relationships with the Organization’s eight Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and help develop and implement advanced learnings to strengthen the Organization’s culture of inclusion. You will manage diversity STEM pipeline programs to ensure alignment with Aerospace’s organizational goals and to fill gaps of the Engineer workforce. You will also design and manage programs to achieve an increase in diversity STEM hiring and retention. The D&I Staff will oversee engagement in department and implement appropriate reporting, evaluation, and improvements to achieve program goals.
Key Functions:
- Provides administration of all programs’ day-to-day operations and the delivery of effective, high-quality services to all reentry candidates.
- Identifies engineer reentries that best align with the strategic workforce plan and training, recruitment and employment programs.
- Work with Aerospace University and third-party vendors to create trainings that center around unconscious bias, affirmative action, tolerance, ERG leadership development, etc.
- Create new programs for pipeline to diverse talent: Veterans and individuals with physical diversity.
- Work with Corporate Communication on programs and campaigns to highlight the efforts of the ERG community.
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships and partnerships with multiple community agencies, workforce development agencies, STEM programs, and those underrepresented in STEM through strategic analysis that supports pipeline programs.
- Implements, monitors and evaluates Diversity Scorecard Measure reporting and performance against program baseline.
- Partners effectively with Business Groups, People Analytics, Leadership Development, People Acquisition, and Aerospace University to ensure consistent, compliant, effective processes.
- Represents Aerospace on internal and external committees and working groups, through networks and partnerships to manage support of reentry programs, and ensure successful and desirable programs for reentries. Supports and acts as a consultant to the Director and serves as a liaison when required.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 10 or more years of experience in Human Resources, Diversity, or career development. Experience in MS Office applications
- Managing community programs with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, process and project management skills
- Demonstrated experience in creating corporate communications
- Demonstrated strengths in building relationships, team collaboration, business acumen, analysis, conflict resolution, project management, and effective communication (verbal, non-verbal, and written)
- Willing to travel locally, and domestically
- Experience working with Equal Employment Opportunity and conducting investigations
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
- Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
Preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state law as it relates to HR programs
- Experience developing and implementing diversity and inclusion strategy and/or initiatives
- Experience preparing, analyzing, and presenting complex material to diverse audiences of varying experience levels
- Experience with Affirmative Action (AA) Plan development
