Job Summary
The Compensation Partner is accountable for managing a strong working relationship with our Clients and Strategic People Partners to ensure the development and administration of effective compensation programs in accordance with the organization's total rewards strategy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acts as the compensation partner for a large client group partnering with the Strategic People Partners on all compensation related projects.
- Responsible for the review, evaluation and external market benchmarking for Aerospace jobs from entry level through management. Work includes the analyzes of job descriptions, the evaluation and leveling of jobs, market pricing as well as the development of hiring ranges and pay recommendations for own client.
- Accountable for the administration of our compensation planning processes including annual planning as well as off-cycle planning, the review of our salary structure, developing appropriate processes and workflows, pay equity studies and all related activities.
- Manages the compensation workflow and processes within Workday including ownership of the Job Profile, all integrations with other HR specialty groups including recruiting, performance management and talent management and future enhancements, as needed.
- Integral partner in development of all communication materials and training developed for compensation programs including Spot Award re-branding, merit planning training and FAQs, as well as Total Rewards Portal.
- Focus on continuous improvement and recommending enhancements in compensation processes using tools like Tableau.
- Will be responsible for responding to audits, as needed
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements Level III:
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 or more years of relevant compensation experience
- Experience with compensation principles, practices, systems, and methodologies
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical skills
Minimum Requirements Level IV:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 or more years of relevant compensation experience
- Experience with compensation principles, practices, systems, and methodologies
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical skills
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, CCP)
- Familiarity with or have experience with competitive pay practices in high tech firms, the space industry and/or FFRDC pay structure
- Experience in Workday and market pay systems
- Experience with dashboards and/or Tableau reporting
