What is your role?
This role requires that you have experience working in a video game studio environment. As an HR Generalist for Eleventh Hour Games, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks across many parts of EHG's HR and operations pipeline. This individual needs exceptional professionalism, communication skills, self autonomy, attention to detail, and organizational-minded approach. You will be working across a fully remote environment with individuals across a global market. Familiarization with HR best practices and a strong project management mindset are key.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in an HR or equivalent role
- Experience working in a Studio Environment in the Video Game Industry
- Have excellent written and verbal communication, including high-quality document preparation and presentation skills
- Demonstrates professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
- Experience working in a fully remote environment
- Experience working in HRIS, Payroll, Project Management, and other HR tools
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and workflow, completing projects on or ahead of schedule
- Ability to make appropriate judgment calls in high-priority situations, alongside the ability to complete multiple tasks on similar deadlines
- Knowledge and Passion for the Industry
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead training and development across multiple departments/topics
- Full cycle recruitment for roles spanning multiple departments
- Plan and facilitate company benefits programs and open enrollment, including company-wide presentations and training
- Be a subject matter expert on all things payroll, compensation, and benefits
- Own portions of the onboarding and offboarding experience, including training and new hire orientation
- Work with senior leadership to facilitate company wide initiatives regarding morale, retention, and employee life cycle
- Oversee the Manager experience, including peer feedback, employee reporting, identifying team gaps, and overall manager training and support
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development initiatives across the organization
- Help identify, organize, and execute on HR strategy regarding morale, retention, recruitment, and more.
