Our HR Team is growing!  We're looking for an HR professional to join our knowledgeable team! The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, hybrid schedule. 


The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives.

This role supports the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through employee development, retention, and separation. The HRG serves as a trusted resource to employees and leaders by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, programs, and employment-related matters while ensuring consistent, fair, and compliant practices.

The HRG collaborates with HR leadership, HR team members, and business leaders to support organizational goals, improve employee experiences, administer HR processes, and contribute to the ongoing development of a positive workplace culture.


Essential Functions

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance across all areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compliance, HR systems, employee engagement, and HR operations.
  • Serve as a resource and point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, workplace practices, and general employment questions.
  • Support the employee lifecycle by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee development, internal movement, performance management, and separation activities.
  • Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, hiring documentation, and onboarding activities.
  • Partner with hiring managers to support effective recruitment practices and provide a positive candidate and new employee experience.
  • Coordinate and complete onboarding activities, ensuring new hires and transferring employees complete all required documentation, training, and system setup.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR data within the HRIS system while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
  • Partner with payroll and HR team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee changes, including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, leave status updates, and terminations.
  • Support employee relations matters by assisting with investigations, documentation, conflict resolution, corrective action processes, and workplace concerns.
  • Provide guidance to managers regarding performance management, employee coaching, documentation practices, and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the administration of performance review processes, employee development initiatives, and engagement activities.
  • Administer and coordinate leave programs, including FMLA, disability, Paid Family Leave, ADA accommodations, Workers’ Compensation, and other applicable leave programs.
  • Ensure all leave paperwork, documentation, communications, and tracking requirements are completed accurately and timely.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and assist in implementing compliant HR practices.
  • Support employee engagement, retention, recognition, culture, and communication initiatives.
  • Assist with training and development activities, including coordination of training programs, tracking completion, and supporting employee learning opportunities.
  • Participate in HR projects, process improvement initiatives, organizational initiatives, and special assignments as needed.
  • Assist with workforce planning efforts and organizational initiatives in partnership with HR leadership.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion while handling employee information and sensitive workplace matters.
  • Stay informed of HR best practices and employment law developments affecting the organization.

Exempt Salaried position:  $75,000-85,000


CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. At least 3 years of corresponding experience in a human resources department needed; experience within a healthcare setting a plus. Current PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification a plus; must be obtained within 1 year if not current. Excellent technical, multi-tasking and organizational skills a must. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion required.
