Job Summary & Responsibilities
  • Extensive experience (3+ years) in FinOps, cloud cost management, or related fields 
  • Strong understanding of Google technologies, services, and cost structures 
  • One or more Associate-level Google certifications (Professional level cert preferred) 
  • Familiarity with The FinOps Foundation, frameworks, and best practices 
  • Familiarity with FinOps tooling such as Cost Management Platforms, Dashboards, and Optimization tools 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams 
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. 

Education: 

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science or relevant experience


Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $140,000.00 to $175,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing? 

World Wide Technology (WWT) is currently seeking a FinOps Technical Solutions Architect who will work closely with our clients to design, implement, and manage financial cloud operations and solutions tailored to their unique needs. This position requires a deep understanding of both financial concepts and cloud technologies, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 


As a FinOps Technical Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clients, sales, operations, and technical experts, to develop and deliver comprehensive FinOps strategies. You will drive client success by ensuring efficient cost management, optimizing cloud spending, and enhancing financial visibility through innovative solutions. This role demands creativity, analytical thinking, and effective communication to present complex financial insights to stakeholders at various levels.

  • Possess a strong background in financial operations, cloud cost management, or related fields 
  • Be capable of crafting and delivering compelling presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Design and implement custom as well as standardized FinOps solutions that align with client objectives 
  • Analyze cloud usage patterns and cost data to identify optimization opportunities 
  • Develop forecasts and reports to provide actionable insights 
  • Cloud architecture consulting for Google Resell clients 
  • Present complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner 
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support 
  • Stay current with industry best practices and trends in FinOps and cloud technologies
