About Parsnipp
We’re a B2B AI Search Marketing company building tools that sit at the intersection of AEO / GEO, LLM Ads, and Agentic Commerce. The founding team has been in this space as operators, not observers. We know the problems because we’ve lived them, and now we’re building the future for marketers.

You can learn more about Parsnipp here: https://parsnipp.com/

The Role
This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who lives and breathes GEO / SEO. You will be working directly with Parsnipp clients to help build and implement AI search marketing strategies. You’ll be on the platform, in the data, and in the room (or Zoom) with our clients.

You’ll help them understand how they show up in AI search and what to do about it. You’ll know our platform inside and out, and you’ll work across our GTM and engineering teams. What you see in client accounts will directly shape what we build next.

Search has shifted from ten blue links to AI-generated answers. If you’ve been leaning into that shift rather than waiting it out, we want to talk. We also believe the first era of AEO / GEO did not solve the full problem; the AI search marketing platform that brands need also incorporates expertise in LLM advertising and agentic commerce.

On any given week, you might be doing:

  • Client Onboarding: Get new agency and brand clients up and running in Parsnipp, from setting up prompts, personas, and competitors to establishing their baseline visibility.

  • Analysis & Insights: Dig into visibility and citation data across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other AI platforms, and turn it into clear, prioritized recommendations.

  • Strategy & Execution: Build and run AEO / GEO strategies alongside traditional SEO, including content optimization, structured data, technical fixes, and citation building.

  • Client Relationships: Lead regular client calls, walk clients through results, and be the expert they turn to when they have questions about AI search.

  • Product Feedback: Bring what you’re seeing in client accounts back to our product and engineering teams, and help test new features before they ship.

  • Education: Help clients, and our own team, keep pace with a fast-moving space through reporting, documentation, and the occasional deep dive.

What we’re looking for:
You’re a practitioner first and deeply committed to customer success. You’ve done the work yourself, you’ve seen what moves the needle, and you’ve been paying close attention as AI changes how people find information.

You’re a fit if:

  • You have 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, whether agency-side, in-house, or both.

  • You’ve done real AEO / GEO work and can talk about what worked and what didn’t.

  • You’re comfortable leading client conversations, including the tough ones when results aren’t where anyone wants them.

  • You enjoy working with data and always want to know why a metric moved.

  • You can explain technical concepts clearly to marketers, executives, and engineers alike.

  • You care about doing things correctly, not just quickly.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Agency experience, or experience managing multiple client accounts at once.

  • You don’t have to have been a customer success manager; we’re more than happy to hire from a brand or agency, but it’s a plus.

  • Technical SEO depth, such as schema, crawlability, and site architecture.

  • Experience with AI visibility or GEO tracking tools.

  • Familiarity with paid search, LLM ads, or emerging AI ad platforms.

  • A public point of view on GEO, such as writing, speaking, or a presence in the SEO community.

  • Preference for candidates based in Seattle, New York, or London.

How we work:

  • We value clarity over jargon.

  • We test, measure, pivot, and iterate constantly.

  • We keep processes lightweight but intentional.

  • We give feedback early and often.

  • We hire people we trust to think, not just execute.

What we offer:

  • Ground-floor equity in a venture-backed company with experienced founders.

  • Competitive salary: $80,000 USD.

  • Direct collaboration with leadership and a cross-functional team.

  • Real influence over the product, shaped by your work with clients.

  • A front-row seat to how AI search is evolving, and hands-on access to the tools built for it.

  • A team that respects your time, your craft, and your autonomy.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
