Job Description:

We are Omnissa!
Omnissa is the first AI-driven digital work platform, built to support flexible, secure, work-from anywhere experiences. We integrate industry-leading solutions—including Unified Endpoint Management, Virtual  Apps and Desktops, Digital Employee Experience, and Security & Compliance—into a seamless, autonomous workspace that adapts to how people work. Our platform boosts employee engagement while optimizing IT operations, security, and cost.
Guided by our Core Values—Act in Alignment, Build Trust, Foster Inclusiveness, Drive Efficiency, and Maximize Customer Value—we’re growing rapidly and committed to delivering meaningful impact. If you're passionate about shaping the future of work, we’d love to hear from you.

At Omnissa, we are committed to maintaining a fair, consistent, and secure hiring process for all candidates. As part of this approach, we use standard interview and verification practices designed to ensure alignment and protect both candidates and the organization. These practices are applied thoughtfully and with respect for candidate privacy.

What is the opportunity?:

We’re hiring our first GTM Engineer!

As the founding hire, you will define what GTM Engineering looks like at Omnissa: the vision, the roadmap, the stack, and how the function grows from here. You get the scale of an established global business with the ownership of a startup seat.

Your mandate is to remove friction from how we go to market and amplify the efficiency of every GTM team. You’ll run GTM Engineering like a product, treating Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Revenue Operations as your customers, and you’ll build systems used by teams across every region we sell in.   This is a builder-and-leader role. You will write the roadmap and you will also ship it.

Here is a breakdown:

Define the GTM Engineering roadmap at Omnissa:

  • Set the vision for GTM Engineering and own its product roadmap – building the use cases that take us from 0 to 1 and progress our GTME capabilities and maturity.
  • Partner with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, RevOps, Product and Data, across regions and time zones, to align on priorities and drive adoption.

Build and ship across the entire customer lifecycle

  • Build the signal, enrichment and routing systems behind every stage of the funnel: account sourcing and scoring, top-of-funnel targeting and lead routing, and expansion, renewal and customer success signals.
  • Design and deploy agentic workflows that GTM teams can use every day.
  • Report impact through coverage, conversion, pipeline, attribution, time saved and cost per qualified account.

Own the GTM Engineering tools + platform

  • Ship production-grade systems with the documentation, monitoring, and testing that make them reliable and easy to adopt.
  • Shape the GTME tech stack: evaluate tools, manage vendors and recommend changes as we scale
  • Own Clay end to end, and build connected workflows across Salesforce, our enrichment providers and the rest of the GTM stack.
  • undefinedIn the first 90 daysMap the landscape. Meet GTM leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and RevOps   globally, and audit the current stack, data quality and biggest sources of friction.Publish Omnissa’s GTM Engineering roadmap. Identify the foundational use cases to build first, plus quick wins to build momentum.Ship 1–2 quick wins in production.Assess and strengthen our Clay foundation. Ramp on what’s already built, find the gaps, and set the architecture future use cases will run on.

What will you bring to Omnissa?

  • 5+ years building GTM systems in B2B software, as a GTM engineer, growth or business systems engineer, data or analytics engineer, or software engineer.
  • Fluency across GTM Engineering use cases in pre-sale, post-sale, RevOps and marketing.  You understand how AI and automation apply across GTM systems.
  • Understanding of the GTM tech stack and architecture and ability to assess build vs. buy options.
  • Tools: Hands-on Clay experience in a production environment (workflow design, enrichment, scoring, credit management); Strong Salesforce skills (HubSpot or Marketo is a plus).
  • Comfort with APIs, JSON and SQL, plus some scripting (JavaScript or Python is a plus).
  • Experience using LLMs in production workflows, including prompt design and output validation, and daily use of current AI tools and MCPs.
  • A builder’s track record: you’ve scoped, shipped, and driven adoption of something new.
  • Understanding of the enterprise B2B software sales cycle.
  • Ability to turn business problems into scalable systems and explain tradeoffs to non-technical leaders.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and end-to-end ownership.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
