• Act as thought partner for CFO, COO, Regional Managing Partners, Regional Finance Leads and Regional PODs
• Work on independently completing regular and ad hoc requests as well as special projects that drive financial and operating performance
• Continuously seek to improve financial and administrative processes and operational effectiveness
• Document processes and best practices to create stronger and more uniform practices across all offices
• Ensure that local practices comply with BCG Digital Ventures policies and highlight areas of risk

Strategic Planning

• Own planning cycle and partner with CFO, COO, Regional Managing Partners, Regional Finance Leads and Regional PODs to develop bottom up plans for revenue and cost drivers at the detailed level
• Develop, maintain and own collaborative planning tools, presentation decks and processes
• Regularly update performance against plan and provide recommendations to improve top and bottom lines
• Update and maintain Global Target Operating Model
• Develop financial KPIs and benchmarks for regional PODs and Finance Leads

Month End Process

• Proactively review operating expenses for accuracy and coordinate with accounting department on booking of monthly journal entries
• Prepare monthly review package for BCG Global Accounting team, to provide reconciliations and variance explanations vs. Budget / vs. Prior Month / Year for significant variances
• Work with regional accounting/finance teams to investigate variances and make corrections as needed
• Prepare MMR slides on monthly P&L results and FTEs 

Reporting

• Complete and analyze various reports; focusing on business metrics, monthly results and review of the P&Ls to identify variances against plan
• Contribute to the preparation of the monthly reporting PowerPoint deck including preparing reports on operating costs
• Perform other duties and work on other special projects or initiatives, as necessary
• Support Global IP Investment Team with reporting and tracking against budgets
• Develop and maintain new excel workbooks and Tableau reporting tools
