About the role and about You:
Zwift is looking for a FP&A Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team, reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst - eCommerce. The ideal candidate is driven and resourceful, with strong analytical and communication skills. This role will have a focus on driving organizational excellence in a high-growth environment. It will have a broad impact that touches many areas of the business, with a focus on eCommerce, FitTech, and Operations.
What you’ll do:
- Assist in building financial models for budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
- Assist in analysing eCommerce business performance and project proposals to help management in decision making.
- Analyse key metrics such as gross margin, financing rate, attachment rate and return rate as the business continues to scale.
- Help with internal and external reporting, including explaining trends and any variance to plans at a weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence.
- Work across the finance and eCommerce teams to provide analysis and business case support for new projects and initiatives.
- Help to identify key trends as well as potential risks & opportunities.
- Assist in the creation and execution of ad-hoc analyses, using a combination of financial and non-financial data.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years experience in FP&A and/or eCommerce finance.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong Excel / financial modeling / GSlides & Keynote skills.
- Must be a proactive & organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines.
- Must be able to work flexibly and remotely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required; role involves building relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Industry experience in retail, ecommerce, or physical products.
- Knowledge of SQL and writing queries for standardized reporting or ad hoc analysis.
- Experience working with a large-scale ERP system (i.e. NetSuite, Acumatica).
- Experience with eCommerce operations (warehousing, logistics, etc.).
- Familiarity with data analytics tools (such as Periscope, Tableau, etc.) and accounting software.
