SENIOR FINANCIAL STATEMENT ANALYST
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Responsible for spreading financial statements, calculating financial covenants, maintaining the tickler for reporting requirements, performing administrative duties for file maintenance, and due diligence investigations.

As a member of City National's Commercial Banking group, you will help to provide expertise and financing solutions to mid-market businesses and organizations with professional management, headquartered in the United States. By listening and understanding the client's needs, the team delivers specialized service and industry-specific expertise to help solve challenges for companies that are growing.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- High volume producer and highly proficient in spreading financial statements and tax returns.
- Accurate spreading of business and personal financial statements and tax returns in Moody's and Buker's.
- Perform financial covenant calculations in Moody's and Excel.
- Set-up and maintain tickler for reporting requirements.
- Notify RM of missing information from financial package.
- Notify RM and CO of financial covenant default.
- May perform administrative duties, such as log receipt, date stamp, and upload financial information to digital credit files.
- Run background check reports, such as Lexis Nexis, Business IQ, and OFAC.
- Prepare and submit requests for Experian credit reports.
- As needed, may assist in special projects such as CCAR data scrubs.
- Provide technical training and mentoring to junior financial statement analysts.
- Review accuracy of spreads completed by Financial Statement Analyst I.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have*
- H.S. Diploma
- Minimum 3 year experience with financial spreadsheet programs (including Excel, Moody's and Buker's, or equivalent programs) required.
Skills and Knowledge
- Complete core accounting classes at a college or university with passing grades within 12-18 months of hire.
- Knowledgeable on AFS or equivalent loan systems.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years of financial statement spreading experience.
