FabFitFun, ranked as one of the fastest growing companies in LA and the US according to Inc, E&Y and Forbes, is looking for a conscientious and proactive Assistant Controller to join our finance and accounting team. Working in collaboration with our Controller, the Assistant Controller will ensure that our company is financially fit as we expand our business within the women’s lifestyle channels including FFFTV, our own product lines and a new fashion initiative.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and assist with the month-end close process, including the review and supervision of 3 team members
• Collaborate with the Finance team on monthly reporting and variance analysis
• Lead the implementation of new financial systems and/or processes
• Coordinate and lead the external audit process
• Assist in determining proper internal controls and segregation of duties
• Perform ad-hoc projects as needed

What you’ll bring:

• 7+ years of progressive Accounting/Finance experience in a Public or Corporate Accounting environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, including revenue recognition and cost accounting

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work across teams and prioritize the team’s tasks

• Previous Supervisory or Management experience
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and strong Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent, CPA a plus
