    As a Finance Data Solutions Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality data products and reporting solutions that support Global Finance. Operating within Digital Finance’s product-driven, pod-based delivery model, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable finance data solutions that enable business insights and operational excellence.

    You will work with moderate independence, applying your analytical and technical skills to translate business requirements into robust, reusable data products. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data engineering and finance partners, you will help deliver trusted, performant solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Data Solutions Delivery (Data Products & Reporting)

    • Support the design, development, and maintenance of reusable Global Finance data products and standardized reporting solutions.
    • Translate moderately complex business and analytical requirements into scalable and repeatable data solutions.
    • Contribute to the development of robust data models and intuitive visualizations that drive actionable finance insights.
    • Ensure solutions are reliable, performant, and aligned with enterprise data standards.
    • Support ongoing enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous delivery of data products.
    • Promote adoption of data solutions through effective collaboration, usability, and documentation.

    Product Management & Delivery

    • Support lifecycle management of data products, including enhancements, optimization, and defect resolution.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned to priorities and timelines.
    • Assist in managing dependencies, risks, and execution activities within assigned workstreams.
    • Apply foundational product management practices to support scalable and efficient delivery.
    • Contribute to rollout, training, and stakeholder enablement efforts.

    Communication & Storytelling

    • Communicate effectively with Finance, Technology, and Enterprise partners.
    • Translate data findings into clear, concise insights and recommendations.
    • Adapt communication to suit both technical and business audiences.
    • Actively engage in discussions, provide input, and incorporate feedback to improve outcomes.

    Business & Finance Partnership

    • Demonstrate intermediate understanding of finance processes and reporting needs.
    • Partner with finance stakeholders to support analysis and operational problem-solving.
    • Identify trends and insights from data products to support business decisions.
    • Align outputs with enterprise metrics, definitions, and strategic outcomes.

    Leadership & Collaboration

    • Lead portions of initiatives or workstreams under guidance.
    • Build strong relationships within Global Finance and across capability centers.
    • Support onboarding and mentoring new team members when appropriate.
    • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture aligned with Capital Group values.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data, Technology, or a related field
    • 3–7 years of experience in data, analytics, or finance technology roles
    • Experience supporting data product development or reporting solutions
    • Intermediate knowledge of finance processes (e.g., FP&A, accounting, reporting)
    • Experience working in cross-functional teams, preferably in an agile or product-based model
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Ability to work with moderate independence in a dynamic environment

    Preferred

    • Experience supporting finance data domains (foundational or reporting data)
    • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, cloud data environments, BI tools like Power BI)
    • Experience contributing to data models, pipelines, or visualization development
    • Background in financial services or asset management

    Orange County Base Salary Range: $93,027-$148,843

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
