About us

We are EnduroSat! A fast-growing space scale-up at the forefront of satellite innovation, specializing in advanced software-flexible satellites for commercial, governmental, and scientific endeavors.

  • This is more than a job, it's a mission

We are making space universally accessible and redefining the possible

  • We get things done

We take ownership of what we do and we work hard to make a difference

  • We are fearless

Transpаrancy is our only way forward. We dare to address and resolve issues head-on

  • We learn from our mistakes

We deliver, take informed risks, and evolve to achieve our goals. We compare with the best version of ourselves

What is the role?

As our Finance Business Partner, you will help build and run the day-to-day financial engine of our US entity. You will own accounts payable and receivable, keep cash visible, and build the processes that let the business spend, pay, and bill reliably as it scales. Where there is no process today, you will design one.

This is a hands-on, operational role. You will pay vendors, chase receivables, and reconcile accounts yourself, and you will also sit beside Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales as their finance point of contact on purchase decisions and program costs. You will contribute operational inputs into global planning, budgeting, and reporting cycles run from Europe.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. It sits at the operational core of US finance today and is positioned to grow into a defined specialism within a broader global finance organization as the company scales and a global CFO is appointed.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Accounts payable & vendor management — Own the end-to-end AP cycle: vendor invoice processing, approval workflows, payment runs, vendor statement reconciliation, and vendor payment queries across entities and currencies
  • Billing & accounts receivable — Issue customer invoices against contract and program milestones, track outstanding receivables, drive collections with commercial teams, and monitor cash conversion and aging
  • Cash & working capital — Maintain the rolling cash position and short-term cash forecast, monitoring payment timing against liquidity needs and flagging working capital risks early
  • Process design & improvement — Design, document, and improve finance operational processes (AP, AR, expenses, procure-to-pay, approvals), building scalable controls and workflows where none exist today
  • Finance business partnering — Act as the day-to-day finance point of contact for operational teams (engineering, production, procurement, commercial), supporting purchase decisions, program cost tracking, and spend visibility
  • Growth within the function — This role sits at the operational core of finance today and will develop into a defined specialism within a broader global finance organization as the company scales
  • Planning & reporting inputs — Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting cycles with operational data, bottoms-up cost inputs, variance explanations, and actuals-vs-plan analysis
  • Close & compliance support — Support month-end close alongside accounting (accruals, reconciliations, intercompany, expense reporting) and help ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and local statutory obligations

What do we look for?

  • 4–6 years in finance or accounting, with meaningful time spent in hands-on transactional work rather than analysis alone
  • Direct ownership of accounts payable and accounts receivable. You have processed invoices, run payments, and chased collections yourself
  • Comfort being the only finance person in the room. You can answer an operations question without escalating it
  • You have built or materially improved a finance process, not just followed one someone else designed.
  • Hands-on ERP or accounting system or software experience (NetSuite, SAP, Odoo, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar), including the reporting and data hygiene side
  • Strong Excel and the judgment to know when a spreadsheet should become a system
  • Comfortable working across time zones with a European head office and a European-run global finance calendar
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Nice to have
  • Experience at a hardware, manufacturing, aerospace, or defense company, where finance sits close to production and long-lead procurement
  • Startup or new-site experience, where you stood up finance operations rather than inheriting them
  • Multi-entity and multi-currency exposure, including intercompany transactions and FX
  • Involvement in an ERP implementation or migration
  • Familiarity with milestone-based or contract-based customer billing
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification

Personal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication skills - able to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance audiences
  • Business partnering mentality: proactive, collaborative, comfortable challenging assumptions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing company

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
