The work our team does directly impacts DIRECTV’s financial performance from systems implementation, risk assessment, and audit planning to name a few.   


You’ll get the chance to work with our Audit team on projects that help drive the future of DIRECTV. Wherever you may land, you will get the chance to put your education and skills to the test and see real world effects!

Project Examples:

  • Support Audit and Finance team members in planning and executing assigned projects.
  • Assist with evaluating business processes, information systems, and internal controls.
  • Analyze financial, operational, system, or control-related data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Document procedures, analysis, conclusions, and supporting evidence in a clear and organized manner.
  • Develop or enhance dashboards, data analytics, or automation solutions.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate progress, questions, and potential issues.
  • Handle company and audit information in accordance with confidentiality, security, and data-handling requirements.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Students currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Understanding of key corporate financial measures of success, information systems and IT security basics including network and system administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Interested in AI tools, process automation, or similar technologies (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Power BI, Python, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete assignments in a virtual work environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting work to stakeholders.

Program Details

  • Duration: 10-week remote internship (This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.)
  •  Program Dates: 6/7/27 – 8/13/27 or 6/14/27 – 8/20/27
  • Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future
  • This position can earn $25 - $34 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers. (Hourly rate based on academic status.
