Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• With the use of solvents and tools, customize and repair furniture.
• Brush, spray, or hand-rub finished ingredients, such as paint, oil, or wax, onto and into wood grain.
• Disassemble items to prepare them for finishing, using hand grinders, sanders, chisels, steel wool, pumice, and sandpaper.
• Apply stains, top coats or varnish, shellac, lacquer, stain and wood sealants for furniture.

• Up to 1 year year(s) of experience using hand and power tools through formal or job-related training.

Physical Demands
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Peripheral vision, Distance vision, and Ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to climb a ladder occasionally. The employee may have to lift items overhead.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; climb or balance and stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire.  Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.  Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time. 

Compensation: $17.40 - $23.25

Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members.  Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
