Snowflake Inc. is looking for a Field Marketing Specialist based in the Bay Area. As a Field Marketing Specialist, you will assist a US Field Marketing Manager with the planning, execution, tracking, and follow-up of their Field Marketing campaigns. You will also have direct interaction with our local Commercial sales team. This position will align closely with the field marketing and strategic events teams, as well as Snowflake’s sales teams to plan and execute in-person and virtual lead generating campaigns.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a natural curiosity to learn, a desire to work collaboratively on a variety of campaigns, and the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Research, plan and execute US Acquisitions event campaigns, including Snowflake-led in-person and virtual events and regional hospitality events.

  • Assist in managing event campaigns from start to finish, including event ideation and brand alignment, promotion strategy and target metrics, internal and external communications, branded swag fulfillment, logistics and staffing.  

  • Support the marketing team with administrative tasks for field marketing initiatives including landing page creation, calendar management, budget management, accounts payable, swag, and more. 

  • Assist with the reporting and tracking of program pipeline and performance results tied to quarterly and annual targets. 

  • Manage SFDC campaign tracking and other processes to meet operational targets and SLAs.

  • Evaluate event campaigns’ impact and ROI to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing ideally within a B2B environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field

  • Passion for and ability to develop creative campaigns and approaches to solve industry sales team challenges.

  • Proven success in developing and managing field marketing programs.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with effective project management, time management, prioritization and organizational skills, with extreme attention to detail.  

  • Strong verbal and written communication and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate internal leaders/teams across functions.

  • Ability to take initiative with an optimistic “can do” attitude and a strong sense of teamwork.

  • Welcomed but not Required: Experience with marketing tools like Marketo, Salesforce / Tableau, and WordPress, as well as proficiency using other office productivity applications and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Slack)

  • An interest in and creative spark as it relates to ideas for messaging, creative design, etc

  • Interest in building alignment and relationships with large enterprise sales organization

  • Ability to work independently and dedicate a minimum of 40 hours/week

  • Willingness to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal history

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 20%
