Job Description SummaryThe Extended Network Leader – ITC is responsible for enabling consistent execution of trade compliance requirements through the company’s business partner compliance network. Reporting to the newly establish Senior Director – Programs & Operations Leader, ITC, this role will be responsible for developing and driving effective practices for how the central ITC function connects to and operates through business and functional resources across the enterprise.
This leader will establish awareness, governance, role clarity, operating expectations, and connection mechanisms that strengthen accountability and consistency across businesses, functions, and geographies.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the operating model for the ITC business partner network, including roles, responsibilities, decision rights, escalation paths, and accountability.
• Develop strong partnerships with business divisions to ensure a robust, fully staffed network and establish consistent expectations for individuals and teams performing ITC-related responsibilities across the enterprise.
• Create and lead governance mechanisms and operating rhythms that connect the central ITC organization with the broader ITC business partner network and other compliance resources.
• Partner with business and functional leaders to clarify ownership and ensure appropriate ITC capability and capacity within their organizations.
• Develop forums and communities of practice that promote communication, knowledge sharing, consistency, regulatory awareness, and dissemination of best practices.
• Ensure that ITC policies, procedures, processes, systems, and regulatory requirements are effectively deployed throughout the network and updated in a timely fashion when necessary.
• Partner with the Training & Communications Leader to define role-specific capability and learning needs for network members.
• Develop and monitor metrics, in conjunction with the ITC Risk Manager and other ITC leaders, that provide visibility into network health, engagement, capability, and execution effectiveness.
• Identify systemic issues affecting network effectiveness and partner across ITC leadership to develop sustainable solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 12 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 14 years of professional experience

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international trade compliance, regulatory compliance, legal, risk, operations, or a related discipline in a complex global organization

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

• Strong understanding of U.S. and international trade compliance requirements and the regulatory environment applicable to the aerospace and defense industry
• Experience establishing governance, accountability, or execution models across distributed organizations or networks, with the ability to create clear operating mechanisms, role clarity, and disciplined execution
• Demonstrated success building alignment and accountability across matrixed organizations, connecting priorities to execution and delivering results through collaboration
• Strong influencing, facilitation, and relationship building skills
• Ability to lead through collaboration and influence rather than direct authority
• Strong change management and execution orientation, with the ability to translate strategy into action, drive adoption, and sustain improvement over time.
• Ability to create clarity and structure in complex operating environments, simplify complexity, solve problems proactively, and strengthen consistency across the network.

The base pay range for this position is $181,000 - $241,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.  This posting is expected to close on October 25th, 2026.
