Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Expert Business Operations Specialist to support the Production AI Strategy team within the Manufacturing & Safety organization based in Everett, Washington on First Shift.
This role requires a highly skilled individual contributor who will lead and facilitate the development, integration, and execution of strategic business programs and plans supporting AI-driven production initiatives.

Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Guide and facilitate the development, integration, and alignment of business operations programs and plans related to AI strategies in production.
- Lead sourcing strategies, cost imperatives, and deployment impact analysis to support work authorization and commitment planning.
- Drive coordination across internal and external business partners, ensuring alignment and compliance with broad-level business strategies set by executive leadership.
- Develop and refine business cases to support strategic investments in AI manufacturing technologies, leveraging quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Program & Project Management
- Provide expert oversight on complex program management activities using Boeing's Program Management Best Practices (PMBP).
- Support, cultivate, and maintain the Product Development Integrated Master Plan (MPP & IMP) within the AI Production Strategy context.
- Lead status reporting and visibility systems to track commitments, performance, risks, and compliance to plan.
- Identify and address risks and opportunities, recommending mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
Business Operations Leadership
- Deliver coaching and guidance to less experienced team members to build organizational capability and ensure continuity of excellence.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive management, representing leadership interests in communicating policies, strategies, and operational direction related to AI initiatives in manufacturing.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across product development, supply chain, engineering, and production to integrate AI strategy effectively.
Data Analytics & IT Integration
- Leverage data analytics, automation, and IT system knowledge to support AI deployment and process improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and data architecture teams to align AI strategy with Boeing's evolving technology systems.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years' experience in program and project management, utilizing standard project management tools and best practices
- 10+ years of deep expertise in business operations processes including but not limited to: Management Systems & Integration (MS&I), Risk Management, Baseline Management, Program/Project Management
- 10+ years of experience working within complex, multi-business-unit environments with broad stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability to develop detailed and compelling business cases to support large initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- In-depth knowledge of Boeing production systems, product development processes, and value streams (sales, engineering, supply chain, production)
- Experience in strategic application of Artificial Intelligence for manufacturing and production settings
- Working knowledge of IT system architectures and how they support manufacturing operations
- Skilled in data analytics, automation, and translating data insights into strategic business decisions
- Familiarity with Boeing's Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
- Strong leadership communication skills, capable of influencing and interacting effectively with senior and executive leadership
- Bachelor's degree or Higher
