We Are Looking For

The Expeditor position is focused on accurate system updates, routine vendor status confirmation, and high-volume data entry. This role focuses on accurate data entry of order acknowledgements, confirmations, ASNs, and system updates while performing routine vendor status checks under direct supervision.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Utilizes ERP system, printed documentation, and reporting tools to identify and monitor open orders and past-due items based on customer order and forecast requirements
  • Contacts vendors via telephone, email, or supplier portals for routine status updates
  • Reviews vendor open backlog reports and collaborates with Expeditor II/III employees
  • Inputs ASN data and updates ETA/tracking information in the ERP system
  • Regularly reviews the standard outstanding requirements list and escalates any issues to Expeditor II/III
  • Performs order acknowledgement entry and basic confirmation follow-up
  • Notifies warehouse/receiving of incoming expedited shipments
  • Completes all data entry (ASNs, confirmations, acknowledgements, documentation) with a high degree of accuracy


What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 
  • 0–2 years of experience in customer service, expediting, data entry, or related administrative support preferred 
  • Outstanding attention to detail and data-entry accuracy 
  • Basic Excel and data-entry proficiency 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with vendors and internal teams
  • Strong adherence to standard processes and procedures 
  • Comfort working under direct supervision and actively seeking guidance from senior team members
  • Proven multi-tasking skills in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Cross-functional influence and mentoring skills


Special Requirements: 

  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) orasylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required. 
  • ITAR Requirement 
  • 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
