Job Description:

The Executive Assistant for the Disney Kids & Family Content & Inclusion (C&I) team plays a key role in supporting the Vice President and Director and enabling the success of a collaborative team dedicated to inclusive storytelling. Partnering with storytellers across Disney Kids & Family, the team helps foster authentic, thoughtful, and culturally informed content. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, proactive, and kind, with strong judgment, a solutions-focused mindset, and a passion for culturally authentic stories for kids and families.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage high volume calendars and schedule meetings for the Vice President and Director, proactively identifying, prioritizing, and escalating urgent and time sensitive issues.
  • Process expense reports and invoices, order office supplies, coordinate travel arrangements, schedule conference rooms, and serve as a liaison with IT partners as needed.
  • Support team leadership with a variety of administrative and organizational tasks, including developing daily task lists and helping track priorities and follow through on key deliverables.
  • Interface directly with senior executives, their support teams, agency partners and external organizations.
  • Review content materials across Live Action and Animation as needed, while managing the tracking of incoming Live Action content for review and supporting Animation tracking as needed.
  • Maintain engagement tracking, project documentation, and impact reporting for community initiatives, and support team operations by attending staff meetings, capturing key discussion points, and tracking action items.
  • Prepare presentations including editing video clips and developing creative assets in partnership with the C&I Coordinator.
  • Support community partnerships through coordination of meetings, communications, and events.
  • Assist with any special projects as needed, including department offsites and events working closely with the C&I coordinator.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of administrative assistant or related experience in a fast-paced entertainment environment at a network, talent agency or production company preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and build effective relationships with executives and employees at all levels, adapting to a variety of personalities and work styles.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure while maintaining strong organization, accuracy, attention to detail, and follow through.
  • Prior experience working with live action or animation content is desirable, in particular reviewing and noting on content.
  • Familiarity with the Disney Kids & Family content slate, including legacy series and films, and an interest in learning more about the portfolio
  • Creative, proactive, and resourceful, with an innovative and efficient approach to project management.
  • Genuine passion for storytelling and kids and family programming.
  • Experience booking domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams, Canva, Workday, SAP, Concur and Airtable.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience.



The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $54,000 to $72,300 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
