Backed by deep partnerships across healthcare and supported by a culture of innovation, cross‑functional collaboration, and relentless curiosity, One Pass is scaling rapidly and shaping the future how people lead healthier, fuller lives.

One Pass is seeking an experienced and highly organize Events Manager to lead the strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of events that drive brand awareness, client engagement, member acquisition, and business growth. This role will serve as the primary owner of all One Pass events, overseeing the full event lifecycle from concept development through post-event analysis.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on executor with a proven track record managing corporate events, conferences, sponsorship activations, client programs, and experiential marketing initiatives. This individual will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to establish event objectives, define success metrics, and demonstrate measurable return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy aligned with One Pass business goals and marketing priorities.

  • Own the planning and execution of all client-facing, member-facing, and industry events.

  • Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility, customer engagement, and business impact through events and sponsorships.

  • Create integrated event plans, timelines, budgets, and project schedules.

Event Execution

  • Lead end-to-end event management, from initial concept through onsite execution and post-event follow-up.

  • Serve as the primary event owner and point of accountability for event success.

  • Manage client events, sponsorship activations, member engagement events, conferences and growth/executive events.

  • Coordinate logistics including registration, venue management, food/beverage, signage, giveaways, staffing, and attendee experience.

  • Ensure all events deliver a high-quality, on-brand experience.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Marketing, Growth, Account Management, network, Product/Tech and Leadership teams to establish event objectives and desired business outcomes.

  • Facilitate alignment among stakeholders and communicate event plans, timelines, and status updates.

  • Develop event briefs and ensure strategic goals are translated into executable plans.

Measurement & ROI

  • Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to establish event KPIs and success metrics.

  • Track event performance against goals including attendance, engagement, pipeline influence, client retention, lead generation, and brand awareness.

  • Develop post-event analyses and executive summaries demonstrating business impact and ROI.

  • Make recommendations for future optimization based on performance insights.

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Negotiate and manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, venues, production partners, promotional suppliers, and fulfillment partners.

  • Procure all event materials, signage, branded merchandise, giveaways, and activation assets.

  • Manage event budgets and ensure projects are delivered within allocated budget.

Sponsorship & Activation Management

  • Oversee sponsorship activations and ensure contracted benefits are fully executed.

  • Develop innovative event experiences that increase attendee engagement and support business objectives.

  • Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and provide recommendations based on strategic fit and anticipated ROI.

About You

You've owned events end-to-end — from strategy and budget to on-site execution and post-event ROI reporting — in a fast-paced environment where you had to juggle multiple projects at once without dropping the ball. You've negotiated vendor and venue contracts, managed event budgets, and made sponsorship activations deliver on what was promised, not just what was signed.

You think in KPIs and can back up results with data — attendance, engagement, pipeline influence, retention, brand awareness — because you know what leadership wants to see in a post-event summary, and you use it to keep improving the next event. You're as comfortable running a B2B client event as you are a consumer-facing activation, and you're skilled at coordinating logistics — registration, venue, staffing, signage — without losing sight of the bigger goal the event is meant to serve.

You collaborate naturally with cross-functional partners — Marketing, Growth, Account Management, Product/Tech — translating shared goals into an event plan everyone can align around. Experience in healthcare, benefits, or wellness is a plus, but what matters most is that you've proven you can take an event from concept to measurable business impact, reliably and at a high bar of quality.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of event marketing, event management, experiential marketing, or related experience.

  • Proven experience owning events from strategy through execution/measurement.

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience developing event KPIs and measuring business impact/ROI.

  • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience.

  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience creating and managing event budgets.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to support events (~25%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within healthcare, benefits, wellness, or health plan organizations.

  • Experience managing large-scale sponsorship activations and industry events (e.g., golf tournaments, charity events, conferences).

  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, or HubSpot.

  • Experience supporting both B2B and consumer-facing events.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
