PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $117,200.00-$143,200.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $91,000.00 - $169,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:


As the Sr. Enterprise Events Manager, you’ll shape and deliver enterprise-wide events that bring BECU’s strategy, culture, and brand to life. You’ll translate business priorities into memorable experiences that engage employees, members, leaders, and key stakeholders while driving measurable outcomes. By combining strategic thinking with operational excellence, you’ll lead high-visibility events that strengthen organizational alignment and create lasting impact. Your expertise in event strategy, experience design, and cross-functional leadership will help elevate how BECU connects, celebrates, and grows. Through your work, you’ll influence the future of enterprise events and contribute to meaningful experiences that support BECU’s mission and long-term success.


This role is a hybrid role and requires frequent travel to the Greater Seattle area.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:


  • Event Strategy & Innovation: Define, develop, and continuously evolve enterprise event strategies, concepts, attendee experiences, and operating models that align with organizational priorities and business objectives.
  • Executive Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and senior leaders by providing guidance on event opportunities, risks, experience design, and strategic recommendations that support organizational goals and stakeholder alignment.
  • Enterprise Event Leadership: Own the end-to-end planning, design, execution, and post-event evaluation of high-visibility enterprise events, ensuring every experience delivers measurable business value and exceptional attendee engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, volunteers, and various stakeholders, creating clarity, alignment, and momentum in dynamic and evolving environments.
  • Budget Ownership & Financial Stewardship: Manage enterprise event budgets with strong fiscal accountability, balancing strategic investments with high-quality event execution.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee vendors, agencies, production partners, and external resources to ensure performance excellence, innovation, and successful delivery of technical and production-related event components.
  • Contract Negotiation & Relationship Management: Negotiate and manage large-scale contracts, partnerships, and service agreements while driving quality, efficiency, and overall value.
  • Operational Excellence: Design and implement scalable planning frameworks, playbooks, and operating models that support consistent and seamless event execution across the organization.
  • Logistics & Risk Management: Develop strategies for event logistics, multi-location coordination, contingency planning, and risk management to support successful experiences for diverse audiences.
  • Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Establish and utilize measurement frameworks to evaluate engagement, business impact, and operational effectiveness while identifying opportunities to modernize, improve, and scale enterprise events.
  • Additional Contributions: Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned in support of organizational priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Minimum Qualifications:


  • A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work or educational experience.
  • 7 years of corporate event planning experience, including ownership of large-scale events (500+ attendees) and event leadership.
  • This role occasionally requires the ability to stand or move for extended periods, lift 40+ lbs as needed, and perform physically active tasks during event preparation and onsite event execution.

  • Proven ability to set event concepts, operate autonomously, and apply strategies in complex environments required.
  • Demonstrated track record of sound judgment across competing priorities and high-visibility initiatives required.
  • Experience scaling events across growing organizations, geographics, or audiences required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with, advise, and influence senior leaders and stakeholders required.
  • Deep understanding of event production, logistics, and experience design required.
  • Experience leading teams, projects, or cross-functional work, with comfort in delivering through others required.
