Perkins Coie is seeking a midlevel associate to join its expanding Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group in the San Francisco or Palo Alto office. The practice focuses on representing innovative companies throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions) as well as the funds that invest in them. Clients range from newly-formed startups to multi-billion dollar technology market leaders. Candidates must have at least three years of experience, preferably at a comparable law firm. Candidates must also have stellar academic credentials and references, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, quantitative and Excel skills, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, up to ten paid Holidays, and family care benefits. More information regarding benefits and programs may be found here

Compensation range: $260,000 to $365,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.

Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.
