Job Description

This position is only open to candidates currently pursuing their associates degree from a community college or trade school. Those currently pursuing their bachelors degree or higher will not be considered for this role.

This role is only open to candidates currently located in Florida or Louisiana.

Early Career Apprentice Program

Want to work in your field and train on the job? Join our 12–24-month apprentice program! You will earn and learn on the job, receive career guidance and mentorship, all while attending school. Allstate will also provide tuition assistance and hands-on training in the legal field.

This program is designed to help you start and grow your career in legal services at Allstate. Here, we support clients and legal teams with critical casework and research. Your 12–24-month program will expose you to legal operations and case management. Through hands-on work, you will gain valuable experience in legal research, document preparation, and litigation support. Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or other relevant fields preferred.
  • Candidates with strong research, writing, and organizational skills are encouraged to apply.

Work Authorization:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Core Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Legal research and writing experience.
  • Ability to analyze and summarize complex legal information.
  • Effective communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Client Legal Services Paralegal Specialist Apprentice:

As a Client Legal Services Paralegal Specialist Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting legal teams and assisting with case management. You’ll:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize relevant case law or statutes.
  • Communicate with claim business partners and plaintiff attorneys regarding case status.
  • Support the discovery process by obtaining records, reviewing documents, and organizing trial materials.
  • Assist clients in responding to legal questions and discovery demands.
  • Help attorneys prepare for trials, arbitrations, and mediations by gathering key evidence and documents.

Compensation:

As an Apprentice, you will work part-time, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, with an hourly pay rate between $18 - 25/hr. Benefits are also available.
