Job Description
The Client Account Manager/Executive is the strategic face of Payment Services to the client, representing multiple business channels. They are responsible for the overall management of a book of accounts, including maintenance, growth, increased profitability, strategic direction, overall client satisfaction, and contract renewals. Consults with clients through data analysis, industry education, presentation of performance results and recommending action to improve performance. Is the escalation point for both internal and external client issues.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically three to five years of client management experience in the payments industry

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Strong sales experience highly preferred

  • Strong contract negotiation, account management and project management skills

  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data

  • Proven customer service/relations skills

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $75,600.00 - 92,400.00
