The FIGS International team is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial, and collaborative E-Commerce Manager with a proven track-record of success managing a high-growth e-commerce business. Reporting into the Sr. Director of International Marketing, you will be responsible for the website experience across 45+ international markets, aligning with the global vision for the company while localizing the website according to country/region-specific needs and preferences. This role requires someone highly analytical, creative, and agile, capable of gaining alignment, building relationships, and managing projects across various stages of growth.

This role will work cross-functionally with internal teams, aligning with domestic site merchandising counterparts and collaborating with marketing, brand, creative, digital product, and data, while managing our external partner relationships including our cross-border solutions partner, SEO agency, and translations agency.  The focus of this role is to enhance the international customer experience through optimized and localized site experience, driving increased engagement and conversion.  The ideal candidate has a passion for building businesses, a deep understanding of the digital landscape with a global perspective, has an analytical approach to problem solving, and thrives in fast-paced environments.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Int’l Marketing and SVP, GM of International on website strategies across the international markets
  • Optimize the website experience, tailoring the navigation, site merchandising, on-site search, and site assets to maximize conversion according to country-specific needs, preferences, and market maturity by abstracting insights from large datasets, following industry trends, consumer insights and customer feedback, in partnership with Int’l leadership
  • Manage the projects and development of the Int’l E-commerce Associate who supports the execution of localized website initiatives
  • Partner with Domestic counterparts to ensure alignment with overall company strategy while localizing where appropriate
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with International Cross-border solutions partner, SEO agency, and translations agency
  • Evaluate and scope additional technical and business resource needs in collaboration with the Product and Engineering teams, 
  • Partner with Sr. Director of Int’l Marketing and marketing and retention teams to optimize landing experience from various channels across markets
  • Identify additional conversion and customer engagement opportunities where appropriate
  • Align with International content calendar to clearly identify points of differentiation from Global strategy due to localized needs
  • Oversee site experience for International promotions and exclusive digital initiatives
  • Brief Int’l site asset needs to Brand and Creative teams 
  • Create Business Review reports that provide an overview of the site experience and action plan across international markets for FIGS Leadership team
  • Conduct robust competitive research and develop actionable market insights

What You Have:

  • 5-6 years of experience in e-commerce/site merchandising roles within the fashion or apparel space
  • Bachelor’s degree with major in Business, Marketing or similar field 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to understand customer behavior and develop a plan of action
  • Deep understanding of the customer journey and the role that marketing channels play to impact site experience
  • Clear, concise communication skills across written, verbal and presentation formats
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
  • Ability to define priorities and structure processes based on impact, confidence, and ease of execution
  • An entrepreneurial mindset: Enthusiastic about building businesses through innovative thinking and a natural curiosity within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must always be looking for opportunities to elevate the baseline and share learnings across the organization
  • Experience with current tools a plus:
    • Headless Commerce (Contentful CMS + Shopify)
    • Global-e 
    • Data platforms: Looker, Heap
    • Google suite, Microsoft suite
  • Experience in global e-commerce practices is a plus
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus

FIGS Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range

  • At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $100,000 and $130,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
