We are looking for a passionate and motivated Inside Sales Representative with a love for selling and a tenacious and methodical approach to prospecting. This individual will bring Scientific expertise, complex and thorough project management skills, and persistent sales acumen to Benchling’s largest accounts in support of our Enterprise Account Executives.
RESPONSIBILITIESWork on and execute renewal and change order opportunities within our Enterprise Accounts (inclusive of PS opportunities) in partnership with Enterprise AEs (for any Opportunity where iACV <$75k iACV)
Consistent attainment of all revenue and booking targets within assigned territory
Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future R&D roadmap to drive the Benchling solution
Work with Enterprise Account Executives to drive outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and communicating our value proposition to decision makers
Partner with CSMs to identify product expansion opportunities within our existing user base
Organize research and first-party findings into coherent and effective Account Plans, Org Maps, and Opportunities
Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline required (e.g. molecular biology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, biochemistry)
1-2 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative role serving Top 20 Pharma
Strong understanding of complex organizational mapping and account planning
Accomplished and adept cold caller with strong verbal and written communication
Persistent, self-motivated, and willing to go beyond strict job responsibilities
Driven to meet/exceed goals with a proven history of consistent high achievement in pursuit of an eventual role as a Global Account Manager

Benchling takes a market-based approach to pay. The candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and work location. For this role the base salary range is $75,000-$103,500/ OTE: $75,000-$103,500.
