Location: Remote - eligible US locations
About the role and about You:
We are seeking a data-driven E-commerce Growth Manager to take full ownership of our global online store. This is not a passive "site maintenance" role; we are looking for a technical builder who will actively engineer our store for growth. You will be responsible for the technical health of the site, continuous conversion rate optimizations, and seamless execution of product launches and promotions. This role sits within our Growth Organization and serves as the vital technical bridge between our Marketing, Web UX/Design, and Supply Chain teams. A primary focus in the first 6 months will be supporting the build and launch of a new Shopify theme.
What you’ll do:
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Build, maintain, and execute a rigorous experimentation roadmap across landing pages, product descriptions, checkout flows, post-purchase funnels, etc. to maximize shopping conversion rate.
- Technical Management: Manage the Shopify environment and configuration, including app integrations, theme customizations (Liquid/CSS/HTML), and site speed optimization.
- Product Launches & Promotions: Accountable for business-as-usual shop management (e.g., product launches, troubleshoot issues, app management, managing assortment), executing product promotions, and release planning/publishing.
- Analytics & Insights: own funnel analytics and performance dashboards for the shop. Monitor and report on KPIs via Shopify Analytics, GA4, heatmaps, session recordings, etc. to identify friction points and opportunity areas.
- Google Shopping: technical point of contact for Google Merchant Center. Monitor the product feed for errors, ensure all products are correctly categorized (GTINs, Titles, Descriptions), and troubleshoot any "disapproved" items.
- Implement best practices: Recommend and implement best-in-class Shopify apps to drive business results and audit/prune apps to ensure site stability and cost-efficiency.
- Customer Experience: Ensure all enhancements follow best practices for usability, accessibility, and mobile-first performance and maintain visual and functional parity with core Zwift.com experience.
What we’re looking for:
- Conversion rate optimization: 5-7+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization, e-commerce optimization, web analytics, and/or growth-focused digital roles.
- A/B Testing: Deep hands-on experience with A/B and multivariate testing tools (Amplitude, Optimizely) with a proven track record of improving conversion through experimentation.
- Shopify expertise: Strong Shopify experience managing high-volume, global stores and deep experience with Shopify app ecosystem across checkout, bundling, reviews, etc.
- Analytics: Advanced understanding of GA4, Google Merchant Center/Google Ads, attribution, heatmaps, and behavioral analytics tools.
- SEO: Solid understanding of technical SEO for e-commerce and how to align the store with paid social/search campaigns and agentic commerce.
- Highly motivated, proactively driven, and deeply passionate about building best-in-class digital experiences and achieving measurable results.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical bugs or integration issues quickly without always relying on outside developers.
Bonus points:
- Passion for fitness, gaming, or sport and understanding of our product assortment.
- Experience working with remote, distributed teams.
