What You’ll Do:
The Document Control Specialist is responsible for managing, tracking, maintaining, and distributing all relevant documents, certifications, and product files in support of the Quality, Compliance, and Regulatory (QCR) function. This role will help develop and maintain a database to ensure all documentation is organized effectively, accurate, and readily accessible, and can be used to provide information to internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include receiving, reviewing, categorizing, scanning, filing, distributing, and tracking documents vital to the functioning of the QCR team.
In addition, the Document Control Specialist will play a central role in developing and maintaining the department’s Quality Management System (QMS). This role will also support and assist in the creation and submission of federal and state regulatory and compliance documentation.
- Develop and maintain a digital Document Management System (DMS) for the QCR department
- Develop and maintain the QCR department’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Manage regulatory documentation database and maintenance
- Convert selected hard copy files to digital format and maintain within DMS
- Create a log-and-track system to ensure documentation is the most up to date version
- Assist in the coordination of efforts associated with the preparation and submittal of federal and state regulatory documentation
- Respond to the requests for documentation and distribute them as needed
- Assist in the tracking and receipt of product test samples and consumer returns
- Other duties may be assigned
Bring It!
- Associate’s degree (AAS) in a STEM-related field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math), or currently pursuing a technical degree, or high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Information System applications used for management of regulatory and/or quality systems
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines (e.g., ISO, FDA, ASTM, and global regulations for consumer products)
- Experience with juvenile and infant products is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Workfront is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Salary range: $ 55,000 - 65,000
